The correct acoustic environment within a space is essential for its proper function. Clear and interference free communication of speech or music within an area is a minimum requirement. Other considerations such as privacy or non-interference externally are also a major concern. This includes offices, consulting rooms, boardrooms, theatres, venues and meeting areas.

 Public areas, bars and restaurants need a certain level of ambient sound in order to be comfortable for their patrons. If left untreated a space will rarely provide the required acoustic response for optimum human use and enjoyment .

The initial design goal establishes the sound signature and levels required in the space. The engineering analysis provides a detailed acoustic model of the area. Using the information measured, we guide the choice of room finishes and if necessary acoustic treatments. These treatments include acoustic wall panels, treated ceilings, frequency specific sound absorption or enhancement devices and many other sound enhancement techniques.

Our comprehensive service ranges from initial consultancy and assessment to installation and final tuning of the area.  We also provide analysis of building Sound Insulation Performance, Attenuation, Reflection and Absorption, criteria that are now defined within building control and planning laws.
